I haven't seen endgame but from what I've heard savage is supposed to be hard. I agree with you on the gold sellers since on my server I get spammed by them constantly and every person on my blacklist is a gold seller.

You're on a server where creating a character is hard, they're mostly on smaller servers that are open most of the time

I hate this attitude. People are allowed to share what they dislike in a game without having to provide solutions to it. On top of that, a good portion of the time when someone does provide some alternate ideas, they get told "If you don't like it, play another game", or "that's not how this game works and never will". The XIV forum community can be balls at times.

Agreed...but not only that, do we have to reply and defend our enjoyment of this game and tell him why he is wrong? no i don't think anything we say will change his mind from leaving or any of the sort, just say bye and hope he has a more enjoyable time to whatever next game he goes to, the rest of us will keep playing...happily.

This is true too, i tend not to reply to these kinds of threads as i don't see any point to it, tons of people every day leave the game for a number of reasons and some like the OP post their reasons and that's fine too, some people in the community tho...lol...they tend to be very vocal about anyone who even gives a hint of disliking any part of the game in a harsh and criticizing manner.

That is false, GMs respond when needed and you didn't look hard enough if you couldn't find phone/email a guess you didn't even know they have chat support also and guessing by your post count guess you also never came here to the forums to ask for help but want to post why you are leaving? Since I've never received a response from SE, I'm posting this thread to explain why I'm leaving FFXIV. This game has a ton of great features, but the bad ones are intolerable.

1) RNG - How many times must I miss at 95%? In a row?

Just doing something again does not increase your percent of hitting something. Every time you are at 95%. You just had bad luck, nothing more.

Attitude? All I was point out was that saying something is bad because you don't like it is ridiculous. You not liking something =/= it is bad. I don't understand why we should encourage people to just complain about something just for the sake of complaining. Especially when some of the things they are complaining about are not actually how they say they are. For example, the GM complaint is totally false. SE has a lot of different ways to contact them, and from my experience they work. Just because it's not how someone would personally like the situations to be handled does not mean that they are a negative aspect of the game. If he actually discussed what his thoughts on the GM situation, in his on opinion, are then he would probably actually get a discussion and different view points.

You claim that people who give "alternate ideas" that they often told that they should just deal with it? No, I'd beg to differ. I've seen many discussions on different parts of the game when the thread creator actually forms the thread as a discussion and gives their own ideas. I rarely see people to tell them to just "suck it up", out side of things such as the ridiculous complaint that items are too difficult to get because RNG, or whatever. How is stating that you shouldn't fail x amount of times in a row on a 95% chance in anyway going to produce a discussion? "RNGesus" is basically the only answer you will get because it's a ridiculous thing to complain about.

Do you see what I'm saying? The way he structured his thread makes it a rather pointless one.
