We can say the same thing about people who want more hardcore raiding, seeing as only a small fraction of players actual do hardcore raiding (a smaller fraction then those who wanted the Lightning Returns items, most definitely).

Except that "hardcore raiding" as a concept isn't really comparable to an event like Lightning Returns. Hardcore raiding is an ongoing thing, new raid tiers get introduced every x months/patches/whatever. Difficulties and rewards may be tweaked and the encounters themselves will change with every raid, but you know there's always going to be a new one eventually. The event, on the other hand, generally happens once and if you miss it you're out of luck. I mean, the event in question happened three times and every single time not even a week after it did, people would be clamoring for it to return yet again.

Didn't they say a Dalmasca exists in the world of FF14?
While it might not be THE Dalmasca (and its regions) as FF12, it could still be an homage to it, much like how Doma and Costa del Sol are. While a seasonal event will be nice, I doubt they'll do it. They didn't do it for FFX HD release, so I doubt they'd do it for FF 12 anniversary. The most we can hope for is a Vaan (meh) or Balthier (yes please!) gear available as a veteran reward

Now hold on people the lalafell might be on to something
-Both our thieves
-Both don't really have family
-Both love adventure
-They both look around the same age
How deep does the lore go?
That's as far as the connections go between the characters but the smallest things can have the biggest impact.

Then Ashe and Garnet/Dagger are connected because both can use white magic and summon. And are part of royalty. And young. And female.
