    Raid Dificulty levles - request to SE

    please support with this Likes if you think it makes sense.

    so SE has stated they can't do 3 levels of dificulty such as WOW because there is not enough staff. so they can do only 2 levels max .

    right now we have 1 level which is totaly usless which is alexander normal. i would like a solution to this, eliminated normal mode, and have meduim ( HM ) and savvage.

    other solution, keep only 1 level of dificulty which is HM aka same dificulty as final coil. and drop savage.

    Not happening, because they wanted the story accessible to everyone. The "totally useless" mode is here to stay.

    Correct if I'm wrong, but isn't Midas Savage the same difficulty level of Final Coil?

    I think the way they did second coil savage was totaly fine, don't know why they need to lock gear in that mode.

    At this point. I just wish they would replace the 8 man raids with some other form of endgame battle content that can't be steamrolled in one day, but I'm really not sure if that will even happen. I'm a bit dissapointed they took the one thing I would consider endgame in 2.0 and made it pointless to do, cuz your really not missing out on much by not doing savage.

    Translation: Please restrict endgame--and its gear--to static-only content.

    I'm starting to get the sense that people who start threads like this want Chains of Promathia-type content that no one other than static groups can do, for reasons that I can only guess at. That movie was a turkey the first time around (I had only finished that story 4 years after I bought the expansion due to the missions being near-impossible to do without a static group) and I doubt people will want anything to do with it in XIV.

    I like normal mode.
    If they can only do two I say drop Savage and bring back coil level difficulty for the second mode to reach as many players as possible.

    i think u didnt read my post. i was saying to add meduim mode, on the expense of normal mode. cause normal is pointelss , cleared in matter of 2 hours upon release by casual players ignoring most mechanics.

    What, exactly, would this "medium" mode consist of? More mage-unfriendly mechanics (e.g. AoE attacks that force casters to waste time moving more often than they do at present)? More adds that can wipe a party if they're not dealt with in time? More debuffs that healers cannot remove?

    Those would be called Extreme Primals.

    I wouldn't mind if we kept a 'Easy' and 'Hard' raid, but I feel it would be better if the easy and hard raid weren't in the same setting. Alexander has a story, so it's too late to change that, but imagine if the 'Hard' raid was treated like an 8-man dungeon? What I mean by this, is that you get no story from it. You enter, fight boss, wipe, maybe get loot, leave.

    Different bosses, different location...
