But that ISNT difficult. It is just an annoyance and a pain in the ass. Difficult is not: this thing one shots me when I try to get where I need to go so I need to recruit a high level player to get through.1.0 had very high lvl mobs and most were around the "zone" lines and made it very hard to get to other areas. I remember trying to get to Mor Dhona from West Shroud it was nearly impossible to do it alone. It was annoying yes but having these high lvl mobs I thought was pretty cool, maybe just not directly on areas where you need to get to the next.
But mostly its due to the fact that people complain if they have to handle anything remotely difficult or have an extra minute or two from there time getting somewhere. Its kinda funny though since we have so many teleports and basically infinite teleporting, flying and people still shoot down the idea of a more dangerous open world.
Yup. See: Diadem. You shouldn't need help to approach a gathering node or spawning point due to it being oh-so-conveniently surrounded on all sides by mobs that would classify as VT or IT (if that were to exist in this game). Especially to complete Generic Quest #1424.
That way of design died for a reason. It should stay dead, imo.
That said, I think there should be some sort of compromise, and I think the best way to do that is to introduce some 'overworld dungeons'. Didn't 1.0 have something like that?
I would say that HW mobs actually do pose a threat if it weren't for the fact that you can simply fly over them all now. There's actually caves in Diadem where you can't avoid mobs by flying, but there's very little reward for going through them.

They need to have zones with hard mobs in it...with useful drops and stuff to farm :/ That is staple in MMO...

I'm not saying they have to one shot you I also find that annoying. I was referring to the fact that mobs scaled pretty high in levels in 1.0 and they should still be put into the game but more thought out. And that doesn't mean giving every mob a range attack and a 1 shot move for the sake of being difficult.
I guess they decided to leave the "there always a bunny that can kick you a$$" in Vana'diel

The levels are tied to the Main Scenario quests levels. Thus, only the Flagship has level 60 enemies. Then we have Heavensward. Why is the entirety of Azys La lv59? What's the point of having this area FILLED with enemies that are the same level and likely same HP? Same with the Hinterlands. Lv59 enemies near ------'s Cave. Why just lv59? There can't be any lv60 enemies anywhere except for passive B rank hunts and A-S that you rarely encounter alone?
