1.) can't make a team equally devoted.

Well we play just for fun I guess, but serious players can be born through stuff like this too. We have a lot of potential here. Tea Pan also said he will take time out to personally train the most dedicated players we see in this group. (Tea Pan is an amazing teacher.)

2.) Can't learn with strangers because they hate losing. Even though losing is how you improve.

All we do is lose.. ^^; But actually when we set up games between ourselves we rotate the members around to even it out. This works really well and after each game i always give tips to the newest pvp players.

3.) toxic players

None here.

4.) no good PVP guides to help me understand faster without having to self learn by making others lose with me to learn.

Here we have a direct contact to some of the best players on Aether. They are like real life, walking pvp guides lmao. I mean they talk back to you yakno'

5.) no training mode where I can create a scenario I lost to and figure out a way to beat it. Could learn from fighting games.

We can try to do things ourselves here, yesterday for the new players I made them all gang up on one experienced healer while the rest of us watched. Just to give them an idea on what's needed to take down a healer, and what healers can do to shake people off. It was very educational for a new player. We just make the best out of what we have... ya dig? ; )

6.) no E-sports scene. If I'm going to get real good. I'd like for tree to be cash prize tournaments to strive for.

Understood, can't help you here but we all play this game for fun. PVP is for fun too. We are proof of this. ^^

So again yes PVP is not for everybody. But for those that are interested here is an alternative if you just want to play for fun or for whatever reason ya know.

I have indeed tried the feast like... 3 times or something like that. Its interesting but I have little time so its taken up by roulette and daily stuff. The queue times can be a real pain sometimes as well.

Also, for the love of all that is good do something about Astrologians shielding move or do something to boost up the other 2 healers. Seriously, it takes way too much to kill just one astrologian while the other 2 healers are relatively easy pickings in comparison.

TBH i have never liked pvp in any games, because also when one does it's always against people that live and breathe PVP. Granted i used to not mind the other pvp before feast.
But i think what really stopped me from at least trying feast was PVP in The Division, players there ruined it for me in FF.

Don't let people ruin things for you. Play amongst friends if you have to. That's what we're doing.

No, and probably never will. I suck at PvP, which doesn't mean that I don't still enjoy going up against my fellow players, but in such a small group it becomes easily appearant who's the one who is not pulling their weight and I got really horrible trash talk before so I don't feel like stepping into this again.
That's why I actually like Frontlines, for once because I'm just one small part of a big crowd and the burden on me doing well or not is a lot smaller, and also because the things I'm actually somewhat good at (annoying opponents as well as making it easier for others to kill them, be it through stopping them from running away or lowering their defense and so on) get to shine there.
In normal PvP, everything goes by so fast, I'm not helpful at all. Just realizing again and again how much of a burden I am on the others is not fun ._.

I have 70 people in my group and 40+ of them are definitely exactly like you. I wish I could get you all in. Why don't you become a representative for your server? Get players just a like you and play among yourselves. Also I will teach you as much as I can and so will so many others.

If anyone else feels this way and would like to play PVP The Feast without the stress. Please contact me. I'm doing this for you guys that wanted to play but had some jerk turn you off. You don't have to give up anything for anyone. You should be able to play and play for fun. I believe in this. And I'm a PVP player!

Well, I can't join your Balmung group as I'm not on your server, and I feel like the representative should be someone experienced, so I wouldn't be a good choice for that^^°
But I'll bookmark it to see if one day a similar linkshell will emerge on my server once you found a fitting representative

I was just putting down what puts me off. I can power through toxic players and not feel belittled from baseless insults. But it's still a negative.

The problem I have is I'm uncertain of FFXiv to make PVP a main real focus worthy of my time and energy where I don't build essentially a skill for hours that will dissipate because the scene dies.
