As I see it, Guildhests are supposed to be mini training areas to give you some very scenarios to deal with different styles of mechanics. I don't think they were intended to be run repeatedly because frankly they're all insanely easy.

Which is probably why they don't have a better reward. They're too simple and too quick. The reward we get is pathetic, but at the same time it's proportional to the amount of effort we put in.

I recently did the Guildhest where you attack the goblins/run up the tree branch and I went in as a White Mage... and spent the entire time in cleric stance. Because everyone avoided the AoEs and the tank grabbed hate/hardly took any damage, I didn't even need to throw out a single heal!

Also an assumption of mine, but I don't think the trials were ever intended as a way to get exp, it was more for their drops or the challenge of the trial itself. I know it seems unlikely, but Titan did used to be actually be hard once upon a time... (or rather it was a lot less forgiving if people made mistakes).

Sure they could add more exp to it, but they're not going to want to just give tons of XP for a 5 minute fight (or under 3 minutes if it's Garuda...), everyone would just spam those and the dungeon queue times would really suffer because of it. Not to mention that content is for level 50, it feels wrong if you were able to get from 50 to 60 with a level 50 trial.

Dungeons, fates, beast quests, roulettes are already quite a few options...
