Is it just me, or did FFXI have better animations for cutscenes?

Too be honest would you even call them cats in this game? I mean all they have is a tail and cat ears and depending on sub race different teeth you can hardly see. I much prefer FFXI because of how they looked. Here they just seem like the generic anime adaptation of what they think a cat person would be like. They look more human than cat in FFXIV :/ Mithra looked more like cats than what we have. I just see it as Hyurs doing cosplay as a cat now.

please dont call them cat person i mean lol. if there was a reward for cat ears in gold saucer that would be the same. true cats in ffxi ftw!
