What are your thoughts about the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXIX?

I missed that part of the broadcast due to work but surely that means the Youkai Watch collaboration is timed for then, not the actual patch? The live letter covered lots of topics, some of which isn't even going to be in the next major patch at all.

The Yo-Kai Watch collab makes me excited to get into it , loving my cute puppy for the WHM staff ^^.
The new Void Ark and Moogle dailies will be what I'll be going for. After the new dungeon unlocks . Need to find time between this and Diablo 3 season 6 :O.

I could have been incorrect then. I wasn't aware the letter contained other content.

I play on a Japanese server with white fat chocobo gatherings I can't join and a PVP team which dresses in matching 7-Eleven maid costumes. I am one of the only regular players I have seen without access to any of these things because of the region of my account. Not all that willing to trust in the uniformity of access to content at this point.

That's not the same situation, though. Those are promotional items obtained outside of the game (much like the soundtrack and artbook minions). The only reason they are region locked is because they are planning a separate means of distribution for NA and EU. The YW event is a proper collaboration event being deployed to live servers, much like the collaboration events we've had in the past (LR, DQX, both FFXI events). Holidays and other events are not per data center or account region, that would be completely silly and a headache to implement.

The new dungeon has a dragon name so.... is it Nidhogg's lair? Yet that pic clearly shows Evil!Estinien on the Steps of Faith, suggesting that is where the final battle for 3.3 will be held....

And Gigi becomes a real boy! He's clearly got the body of a lalafell there (albeit one of pitch black).

Either way, can't wait for this! (Still no info about when 3.3 is coming though! Don't leave us hanging Yoshi!)

There's an unofficial translation done by MarkoTurn. It was kind of disappointing that literally half of the LL was about the Youkai Watch event stuff. I was hoping for more about actual FFXIV content but eh, cute minions at least.

While I can't speak for that part of the name, the Japanese name is a bit longer: 'Heavenly Dragon Palace Sohr Khai'.

Nidhogg is one of the heavenly dragons in the game, so make of that what you will.
