Not defending it, but it is what it is. It's not going to go away. A worse punishment isn't going to fix the problem. Queuing with others would solve your problem, though.

And when I leveling my DPS to CT it needs to wait another 20 mins to popped again and so on.Crystal Tower queue:

Never Forget.
Just because it was worse before doesn't mean what we have now is totally fixed.Keyword: spam.
Before this penalty was added, what do you think happened? People would queue, get something they don't want, leave, queue, leave, queue, leave, repeat until they got something they wanted.
Now? Queue, get something bad, maybe leave or suck it up, if leave gotta wait 30 mins instead of queueing 30 times ruining 30 other parties.
That's why the penalty was added, and it's preventing it very well, I doubt anyone would queue 30 times and take the penalty 30 times.
I still think an ideal solution for the roulette problem was one posed in another recent thread and probably several times among several other threads in the past -- make it so that once you get something in a roulette, you will keep getting that same dungeon/trial until you win or until there's a maintenance.
If that makes some people choose not to queue for roulettes at all... well, GOOD. Those are the sort of people that shouldn't be queueing a roulette to begin with.
Back when they added Steps of Faith to the trial roulette before it was nerfed (meaning the vast majority of DF parties couldn't clear it, also meaning the trial was still relatively new so it was the one that trials roulette gave you more often than not), I temporarily stopped queueing trials roulette, because at that point it started to be a colossal waste of time for me. At least I wasn't one of Those Guys that kept queueing it and bailing if it happened to land on Steps of Faith, like some people STILL do even today.

You guys are crying and complaining about a system that is completely working as intended. What you're actually wanting fixed are people being assholes. No system SE implements is going to stop someone from being an asshole. Just suck it up and carry on with your day, or group with your friends (if you have any) and solve your own problems.
I have been trying to level Monk for almost a week now with almost no progress.
Seriously, there needs to be a 12 hour lockout for this. If something comes up where you can't join the dungeon, you should just withdraw when it pops. There's no reason to accept it then immediately leave.
Lmao, you haven't had any progress? I'm sorry isn't there Fates? Leves? You don't know why someone might leave the moment a dungeon starts, the que may have taken longer and they needed to leave for something. Here's the thing, you waited 30+ minutes and someone quit the moment you started, if they had backed out, you would still be waiting, they may have left but they got you into the dungeon. Your ridiculous suggestion for 12 hour lockouts would kill this game faster than Bahamuts teraflare caused the calamity, the system isn't here to stop people from quitting, like everyone is saying it's in place so you can't spam DF. Grab some friends and que or do like I suggested and Fate and Leve, half the time you don't even need the DF anyway.

The penalty is supposedly in place to try to discourage people being assholes (otherwise there's no real point to it being there at all)You guys are crying and complaining about a system that is completely working as intended.
The fact threads like this keep being made ought to be a sign that it's actually not "completely working as intended" as you seem to think it is.

That's actually not true. The intent of the system was to LIMIT how much of an asshole someone can be at any given time. That's all that can be done. And in that regard, yes I believe it's working completely as intended, but please, continue to cry about how all these people are wasting only your time. The penalty is supposedly in place to try to discourage people being assholes (otherwise there's no real point to it being there at all)

INB4, people start pointing fingers... I don't leave parties at the onset. I give them a shot no matter how much I might hate a particular dungeon. But, people gonna be how people gonna be, as they say. I'm not that worried about it.
Now you're just arguing semanticsThat's actually not true. The intent of the system was to LIMIT how much of an asshole someone can be at any given time.![]()
They should show what dungeon you are about to enter when doing roulete! Problem solved >_>
