thats EXACTLY my point, thank you so much!!! beside this is a bit OUT DATED but since its 2015 still works
so acording to that list BRD still one of the most popular class TOP 3 of all the dps class: BLM> BRD=DRAG> SMN > MNK > NNJ > MCH. Even this year i believe its the same TOP 3. The reason why i even mention wether its popular or not if you read the previous post where people said BRD players had left the class which is TRUE but NOT "everyone" left the class, they hated the class but they still tried get used to this new changes and btw i think one of my past PAST PAST previous post i mentioned "one of the most player base on dps". i just stopped saying that because... assuming am talking to the "same" people. but yes next time i should make myself clear so it doesnt confuses people like you.

Seriously, as of right now I'm pretty sure there's more MCH in end game content as there are bards.

Why that difference? Well, I repeated myself multiple times and don't feel like doing it again.

and i am sure people AWARE of what u trying to say but in the end BOTH class are capable of doing AS, can we please just at least agreed to that? just because BRD kit doesnt shine in a dungeon that favors more MELEE/physical class doesnt mean the class is "bad" itself.

For Raid of Midan Savage is has already been said, Mechanists are actually a lot better than Bow Mages... errr, I mean Bards.
Currently on Midan savages Bards are going between 1000 - 1200 DPS while Mechanists are around 1100 - 1400 DPS, that's a non negligable difference especially if you take in count their Vulnerability for the whole group.

Bow mages actually needs a buff, either need potency damage up or change damage dealt when in Wanderer's Minuet to Magic Damage. (That last one would be pretty sweet.)

I once argued that Bard was in need of slight adjustments or some sort of improvement in another thread a while back, to help them dish out slightly more dmg to get them a lil closer to other dps.

...some (in that thread) responded with things such as or close to: "they don't need buffs," "Bards are fine," "their 'support' and have better utility than others...they shouldn't need to do dmg in which they are close to the other dps," "...look at what some of the top players can do with Bard on FFlogs, they're fine as is," "....spend less time on the forums, and spend more time getting gud," etc

I was saying then that Bard needed to be looked at as far as adjustments went (and this was before the changes Machinist got to Gauss Round, Hypercharge, and something else I believe). And now looking at this thread....I'm happy that Machinist can do dmg closer to the other dps (even though I don't plan to switch to it). Hopefully they stay that way and don't get nerfed. I wouldn't hold your breath on Bard though...think the majority are dead set against giving that job anything.

I do wish that brd has a buff that either increase physical class in a group or just make foe benefit with physical class too.

Well I ran into 2 bards who did less than WHM (trash and boss) in expert roulettes last night. I think based on this solid dungeon data, bards need buff...

In a more serious note. This is largely a raider problem, the general public who don't raid largely don't notice/care about the min-maxing. The only reason bard is being compared to MCH is because they're currently just a straight up better version of bard in a raid environment. Unfortunately. I raid on my bard, and I'm leveling a MCH now.

Bard is far from beeing bad in dungeon though, 95% of the time I end up having the highest DPS in dungeon, the problem only lives in end game content with Midan Savage. This this is made to be difficult, why would you want to make everyone job harder when you can make it a lot easier with a MCH instead of a bard? (And this is why most static aren't looking for a bard but onyl looking for a MCH only)

OK dude u re starting to annoys me, READ the WHOLE thing before u make u urself sounds *silly*, if you read my previous post which Obviously u DID NOT, I wasn't the one saying BRD needs buff(I was supporting rice that BRD doesn't need buff) I said I *WISH* bard has a buff meaning *class skills* also that doesn't mean BRD *need* it, so next time kindly READ the previous posts

And also what you just said is what I been trying to tell others, so then again READ and also if my posts re too confusing then kindly move to someone else posts, I dint feel like explanning myself after 4-5 pages, it's a lot lol.

2.0 Bard is dead, 3.0 bard is some undead abomination thing. The job is completely unfocused on what it's doing and is no longer unique in any respect other than it uses the visual of a bow. It doesn't need a buff, it needs to go back to alpha and be completely reworked from the ground up.
