Last night. Had to cap lorestones quickly before the reset, was missing like 16, so decided to queue Pharos HM. Damn. 20min run, so smooth, no wipes, everything downed really fast![]()

I actually got seph for trial roulette as I was reading this. No newbies, but I just logged on and animations tend to be a bit buggy for me for a bit, surprisingly I managed to handle all the mechanics fine despite his model bugging out on me in p1. When he got big, everything was fine as well, except for one part, the tanks decided they love the color blue. We beat him no problem, took a little bit longer than it should have though cause the tanks died during every fist slam except for 1. But in the end we did beat him in 1 try, and no one was verbal about the tanks love for blue things.
I love getting that for roulette with a good party. Went in with my healer and we got a BLM and a BRD. Everything melted. I did enormous pulls.
Well, I was the duty finder horror story.
Don't go for trial roul as tank if you normally dps in Seph Ex, and then say youll mt because your fc friend and fellow dark knight is new to the duty (WHY DOES IT PUT YOU IN SEPH NORMAL EVEN WHEN YOU HAVENT CLEARED IT YET ANYWAY!!)
I fell off like a goof. Immediately once we went into phase 3. I feel so dumb because I was the only one who fell off, too. I wasn't prepared for the pounding to start immediately and I was positioned like an idiot. Gaah.
Reminds me of a recent Seph EX with some friends. One friend, who normally heals on his WHM, opted to go DPS on his DRG. The other friend, who is normally DPS on his NIN, opted to go SCH to support the other WHM.Well, I was the duty finder horror story.

Needless to say, when Earthshakers came, there was a fustercluck. Luckily they sorted it out after one wipe. Still funny to watch though.
So, this happened around 2 weeks ago when I was levelling summoner in Brayflox. This one tank was very irritable, maybe because I marked an enemy or 2 for him. He starts raging really hard in chat, my friend and I giggle like school children in the FC chat because of this. I mean, it sounds harsh, don't get me wrong. But I believe the healer was marking most of the enemies and that seemed to agitate the tank way more than what I did. So we get to last boss and my friend is like "I dare you to mark the boss", well I ended up listening to her, and marked him. Tank goes absolutely hysterical, literally just sits down in AoE, and doesn't move. He eventually left, so we were forced to vote kick. We stuck with him cos wait time was over 30 mins anyway.
Reading this back, I still feel bad about it. Turns out tank was on our server, so I messaged him and he was super cool about it. Unlike my friend who said "U MAD BRO", well at least he was in a duty and didn't receive it lol.

"Hey, let's try Stone Vigil as paladin! I'm close to level 43!"
First pull, I try to hold the mobs still for the monk. Suddenly the healer is dead.
They literally ran away and pulled more, which I didn't notice because I was so focused on not turning the mobs too much for the monk.
?????????????????????????? Why did the HEALER RUN OFF TO PULL MORE MOBS
Monk immediately goes "cya" and leaves, next the summoner, followed by the healer.
I'm... confused. Very confused.

Just had a run in A8 as a PLD. Co-tank was a PLD, with a little more health than me, so I check their gear, see an i230 relic among other things, so I swap to SwO and let them MT. 10s into the fight, I've ripped aggro off them, much to my surprise, so I pop ShO and take over tanking, and start watching them for a bit. They're spamming un-combo'ed Rage of Halone. One of the healers notices this as well, and asks them what's with the Rage of Halone spam... no answer. Had some mishap with the tankbuster (one of the healers not paying attention) and the adds, and we wiped... Suffice to say, the other tank didn't remain in the group very long.
Now, I'm curious to know how exactly they managed to get an i230 relic weapon, when all they seem to use is Rage of Halone and a handful of oGCDs (namely, Sheltron and Shield Swipe).
