


Speaking of Uematsu, I saw no mention of his name. Granted, I don't speak Japanese, so I couldn't see if they mentioned the composer at all, but his name wasn't there.

NU has his owns studio and doesn't work for Square Enix. It's likely that for reasons already voiced on these forums and for price efficiency they're having different people compose the new tracks.
While I liked much of NU's work in XIV, I do like this move as the new music still seems to fit the world and it adds more variety to the game.

Right, I'm aware of that. I was just wondering if they had hired him again since the first expansion isn't out yet.
