    Anyone who complained that the music thus far has been too "rock-inspired" is in for a treat.

    sounds good, but are there two different chocobo melodies? (one for rental one for personal?)

    Oh my. This game is heading so fast towards a complete resurrection that it isn't even funny.

    I love Uematsu's work but yeah, felt like the rock-inspired tracks for this game was just not fitting, personally. This crop of upcoming music sounds perfect to me so far!

    Speaking of Uematsu, I saw no mention of his name. Granted, I don't speak Japanese, so I couldn't see if they mentioned the composer at all, but his name wasn't there.

    NU has his owns studio and doesn't work for Square Enix. It's likely that for reasons already voiced on these forums and for price efficiency they're having different people compose the new tracks.

    While I liked much of NU's work in XIV, I do like this move as the new music still seems to fit the world and it adds more variety to the game.
