So anyone else tired of grinding tomes weekly for gear?

I've Canceled my sub. I went back to FF11 in November and really haven't been interested in playing FF14 since. The world in FF11 just feels HUGE compared to FF14 (FF14 really needs to open all their dungeons to the open world. Still keep the DF versions but to have all these dungeons as actual places in the open world would be awesome)

Gosh, I wish FF11 had FF14s graphics though </3.

FF14 is a Glamour collector game. I say that because gear expires so fast, that the only lasting reason to get gear in this game is for dress-up :/ and to make matters worse, there is no glamour book so I can't "Catch em all".

I'll be watching the forums and reading patch notes for FF14... I've been waiting a long time (been here since 1.0 day 1) for something new and I thought Diadem was gonna keep me wanting to play but that was DoA.. I'm done.

Honestly once Final Fantasy XV comes around I'll be playing that over XIV, like you I'll be watching it from a distance, still waiting on these "risks" Yoshida said he was going to take with Heavensward guess we got 3 more patches to see if they'll ever happen a few other friends have said they'll be playing XV when that comes. I'm also playing Final Fantasy XI on and off too, that game to me feels like a Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XIV is a fanservice game (which most of the WoW players who populate this game complain about because they don't get the throwbacks) themepark and I'll treat it as such.
