Female Sundrop Dance

Why is the female sundrop dance so modest? The male version is very involved, gets the legs moving and everything. The female version barely moves at all, no leg movement, doesn't seem to be any resemblance to the male intensity. Please change the female version to be more intense like the male.

Seems like the fair solution would be to make both versions of the dance available and let the player pick which to use. ...my character looks completely wrong using the female version and would look perfectly right using the male version.

Gender disparities like these don't seem to be high on SE's list of priorities. For example, your hairstyle is decidedly gender neutral but males don't have it as an option. Don't worry, female characters are still light years ahead overall with all their exclusive glamours. You get one derpy dance. We get a metric butt-ton of female + unisex glamour options and only a handful of male only ones.

I recently swapped from male Lala to female Roe in game, so - yeah, I have some familiarity in the glamour differences between the two. The glamour game on female characters is worlds different than male. But then there's the dance. Some of these gender differences are absolutely ridiculous (bunny ears gender locked? SERIOUSLY?) and while I can respect the desire to create an accurate representation of a real world counterpart, limiting player options is a terrible idea. I can rearrange 99% of my HUD in game but can't have a choice between versions of a dance on my gender ambiguous Roegadyn.

This basically got discussed to death a few months back. The long and short of it is that it's based on the haka, a real life dance from New Zealand with somewhat differing versions for each gender. It most likely isn't going to be changed.

Amazing that they thought about this... when it comes to glamour and fluff, they go all out on it. :b

not just new zealand alot of countries do the haka or somethin very similar tonga/fiji/samoa places like that
