    Considering we purchase said product and they have allowed us to give our own input on the direction via these forums, I think it's fair to voice our views on whether or not we like something.
    They do owe us a good game as they have promised with the change of development.

    I, as someone who studies art, feel like I should be able to voice my opinions and views with how the art direction might effect the game overall. I'm not saying that I know what's best for the company, but people needn't be chastised for suggesting a certain direction might not be best for the game or the company. We should be able to discuss these things freely and maturely without someone telling us we're simply not allowed to talk about it.

    Artistic continuity is important in any piece of entertainment. I'm mostly okay with these because they make sense contextually. Gear made from the bones and horns of a fiery primal are bound to look organic and fiery. It's just a little odd against the rest of the equipment we already have.

    It's rather funny, because... For all the people that have the delusion that these new Primal Weapons don't fit with the game, have a point.. Right now. And in another 6 months we will probably see a lot more armor and weapons like this while slowly losing the old bland weapon and armor sets. So in short, in a year or so, none of this will matter. Everything will be exaggerated and glowy.

    PS: I like the looks of the weapons, albiet the Pugilist weapons should have been more like gauntlets with horns.

    The weapons look fine to me, and certainly fit considering their origins. Their size isn't an issue either. Fantasy, final or otherwise is well known for unrealistic weapons and armors.

    As to the notion that aesthetics aren't a matter of opinion, pure idiocy. This whole topic is purely a subjective matter.

    I suppose you have a point. When more primal battles come out, more organic weapons will be introduced and it will feel more like the weapons make sense as a specialized brand from the old gods.

    But do not call the regular weapons bland.
    They OOZE class.

    i just felt that tone of pink was wrong for the game.

    lol thats the same thing that made me not want to use Abyssea equipment (those pink berets and gloves) in XI. At least here we have somewhat of a choice in what colors we can wear.

    Weapons you get from ifrit look like there monster hunter weapons.
    Seems sorta fine to me.

    We need the level cap raised. I want to see more flasher gear.

    Level 1-50 should be bland, poor mans gear.

    this i can totally agree with.

    also remember people, the class specific gear is coming out. the BLM gear looks nothing like anything else in the game, its viewable in model viewers, ive seen it myself, your all gonna hate it.

    Yeah and what about that Dragoon armor too! That's the most unique armor in the game as of yet (not even the other artifact/job/relic/whatever) armor are similar to it...and I can't wait!
