...Try and think a little more before posting ideas. While switching the cross class abilities of Dark Knight to another class certainly has merit (such as switching Marauder for Rogue or something), completely changing an already strong ability possessed by a large number of classes, in addition to wildly changing the Dark Knight's cross-class selection would have way too many unintended consequences.
I didn't think Bards and Monks and Ninjas were "pwning" the parses over other DPS classes. It might actually balance some. I know Ninja and Bard are quite low on the list. Don't know about Monk. However did ya notice you also have 10 seconds less of an uptime of it, which is also a nerf as well as an increased cooldown.

It will make Blood for Blood better for burst damage, but in the end it may even lower their overall parse due to less sustain damage.

Where? Lol. Look, it's fine if you like it on FFXIV, enjoy it like I do (even though I stopped looking at it as a dark knight), but please, don't make things up, which is what you always do.
Final Fantasy 4? I always get confused. I remember using Dark Knight as a DPS Main Tank. It was one of the FFs but basicly I always believed Dark Knight shouldn't even use mana much and should be all about Health Manipulation with Lifetaps and such. Kind of like Shadowknight and Reavers in EQ and Rift. You can sacrifice health if its to gain more back or reduce damage in some way. It was a cool playstyle, and honestly: it worked.
