SCH was a pointless addition to FF11.

And hope they don't make the same mistake with this game.

They could do with redesigning THM to be more like a necromancer though, especially how the THM quests hint at zombifaction and having control over the dead.

It wasn't pointless at all. I specialized as a damage-dealing SCH, and more often than not I was doing a lot more damage than the better geared black mages out there in raw nuking power, not to mention I was a helix fanatic and by the end of their duration, those helices equated to more than an ancient magic spell most times. And for only like, 79MP? something like that.
