The most offensive part of that chat log was the tank's provoke macro.

I just got kicked from Toto-Rak for being a "moron AST that doesn't draw cards" despite me trying to explain that I do not have access to those skills at low level.

Gotta love the ability "scaling" in this game. <_<

I had a similar thing happen to me awhile back. It was TamTara or Toto-Rak, I can't remember which one, but it was under 30 and the other DPS kept trying get me to use Huton. Kept telling him I didn't have it. I felt kind of bad because he was trying to help. He was just very confused.

My old static actually had this problem back in A1S where our BLM went a little too ham on Faust and would get herself killed. We had to go help her level BRD to get Quelling because she didn't even have it unlocked. XD

And after checking things, I was right, you can't be a BLM without Raging Strikes. It's just not possible.

Sure it is! Just don't cross class it at all. Sadly, these people do exist.

Yeah but it is important to have it -> cross class it for the caster DPS.

It's an Archer lv4 ability, and you need the Archer at lv15 to unlock BLM - I think that's the point Ilenya wants to make ^^

Oh I know, but I meant that Chirol86 was correct that it is possible for a BLM to not have it as in just not cross class it. If it's not a BLM skill then they might not have it on their skill bar. ^^ I think some players are sadly unaware of how useful (and necessary) cross class skills can be.

Well, yeah, but the start of this part of the discussion sort of opened with the premise of a BLM not having Raging Strikes unlocked, not with a BLM not having it equipped =)

(Of course, AnaviAnael might have meant people who are able to crossclass ARC, but don't require it to unlock their jobs.)
