I was perfectly fine with the third step when the only other option was to get a 210 savage weapon. It fit its intended purpose then.

That I want to see it better fit its intended purpose now and believe it doesn't hardly means I want something handed to me without putting work in.

Something like making it 12 or 15 tokens each instead of 20, and NQ instead of HQ items. Bam, better fits the time and effort curve of getting to a 210 weapon.

Dropping the requirements to 15, or even 12, of each token while leaving the cost of those the same, and changing it to NQ items is still quite a bit of effort and some gil. That hardly results in having 230 handed to you.

So practically a ilevel 230 relic within 2 weeks for everyone who just begin the quest?
Don't forget, you can get the required items for the ilevel 230 upgrade while still working on the first step.

The needed time from quest start until the goal have not really changed for those who still have not the ilevel 210 relic, because you can earn the aether oil from the weekly CT quest while working on the presteps of the relic and get a ilevel 230 relic 5 minutes after getting the 210 relic.

And because of this, don't expect a nerf until another (not skippable) 1 month grind get added.
