A way to obtain unobtainable minion?

I'm such a big minion hunter I have over 160 minion, never missing promotionnal one and almost up to date at every patch. Yet, i feel unsastisfied, because I know, whatever how hard I try to complete my collection, that I will be missing one minion, all the time. Because I didn't start the game at the very beginning, I will never be able to obtain the Cait Sith from the ARR pre-order. Some people are prolly like me, and I bet it's also the case for HS pre-order, 1.0 and 2.0 OST.

Please, it would be great to allow minion hunters who reached a certain amount of minion to get those unobtainable minion in some way even if it's real money (mog kiosk with higher price than usual premium minion).

I'd imagine demand isn't that high for it. It'd have to be absurdly high for them to consider it, where even then, it still isn't all that likely. Diminishing the value behind those limited time goods is probably something they don't want to do, sort of like the legacy Chocobo for 1.0 players. Especially when you consider the general inconvenience involved when dealing with Digital River. A handful of non-invasive rarity in a game where practically everything is otherwise available in some way, isn't really a bad thing. It's unfortunate, but that's usually the nature of collectables.

It's possible though, at least with Cait Sith or the OST minions, that they'd be available at some point on the mog station, given that the means to obtain those involved money to begin with. Side note to anyone questioning the Cait Sith minion on that, given that it was free: pre-ordering and then purchasing the game does involve money.

I'm the same since I didn't know about the game, my nephew got me to play with him, who pre-ordered it himself. I also don't have Dalamud due to the fact I wasn't collecting minions back then, but now that I am and up to 152 minions, I would at least like a crack at Cait Sith & Dalamud.

I missed out on a few events and therfore the minions and I'm pretty sad about it. I'd love for those to be put into Mog Station too (they added the Lightning gear and pretty much all of the old seasonal gear so I don't see why this would be a problem).

Square has been getting better about throwing stuff in the cash shop. I was pretty bummed I missed that magic broom mount, but Im sure this October it'll be in the cash shop. It feels like they way about a year past the event to toss it on cash show. Thancred and minfillia minions were an event reward and then ended up there.

As someone who actually has the Cait Sith minion, I honestly don't mind if they put it in the cash shop. From one collector to another, you have my blessing.

I want my Yugiri and Ysayle minions on all my new characters, thus I approve of this. Put them in the cash shop, or make them possible prizes you can get at the gold saucer either from playing lord of verminion or just at the MGP prize claim.. x.x seriously I'm so bummed that I didn't get to get these things on all my characters when they came out, it's why I keep pushing for a gold saucer time machine that lets you play through past events >.> but that is sort of a different topic since its also because I want the event cutscenes..

I assume the Fledgling Apkallu minion is no longer available? Got bored this weekend and pretty much wiped out the sightseeing log only to realize that it's completion may no longer give you this minion.
