Summoner - i am disappointed

So i finally unlocked the Summoner job and i am disappointed.

As an arcanist i had spells like Aero, protect from conjurer ; Mercy Stroke from Marauder.

I had fun having 2 instant dots. I had a blast.

Now i only have 2 cross classes, as an arcanist i had 7.

WTF do you take them from me.

It really shocked me in the bad sense.

Why give so many options and then take them out.
I really hate that.

I guess you could unequip your job stone, eat the huge drop in intelligence and miss out on like 12 job specific skills for very situational and mostly unnecessary cross classes but why? And who would want that button bloat, really.

Lol, well I mean i guess if you want to waste everyones time you run a dungeon with and ensure you never get into any endgame content, you can do as Jamillion said and take off the soul crystal.

Your job cristal is here to specialise you, so you don't have access to all of the previous cross-class skills which are irrelevant (technically or in a roleplay fashion) to your new job.

Moreover, lowlevel cross-class skills are pretty open to allow low levels to compensate for a lack of abilities and options.
New abilities will unlock every 5 level until level 50 and every 2 level between 50 and 60.

The thing is i loved the style of play i had. I didn't want to change. Having those skills. Having those skill was fun. It feels like you are not stocking to one class. It felt unique. I have seen that in any other mmo. Most importantly it was fun. It feels like leveling those other classes was waste of time.

It was cool leveling those classes to get an edge in combat, now it feels like generic theme park mmo. I do not know if i want return to the game.

That is the point, i must take the job because not taking one is not optimal.
So i had get use to it or stop playing.

This is my first real MMO so correct me if I'm wrong but don't most MMOs keep characters locked by class? Also, max cross class skills is 5 on a job at level 50+. In case you were worried that you'd be stuck with 2 forever.
