I would love to see more modern clothing for FFXIV. I want to recreate my OC's outfit I drew here:

For my character... I want short-sleeve hoodies in the game please! And sneakers and baggy shorts that go past their knees. That's all I ask for.

Ummm. I'm gonna shake my head at this one. Seeing players in jeans, hoodies, and beats would seriously take out a lot of the fantasy in Final Fantasy. We have the real world to fashion ourselves in such ways, and I'd actually propose that we bring things like tabards, doublets, leather gauntlets, and tunics back into the real world!

If anything, they should at least increase customization of our gear. For instance, if a body piece has a hood, I wish we had the option to put it on and take it off. If it's a cowl or some other item that prevents equipping head hear, go ahead and keep it that way.

I would like some more "simple" style tops and pants. I like a more streamlined look.

Although, earning something like this shirt, for treasure hunting, would make my day.

Does anyone know if players in the other region, Europe and Japan, want more casual "modern" clothing options as well?

i don't understand this "theme" anyway; either we have plain 19th century clothing, or super fancy haute couture outfits, but hoodies would ruin it?
if we can imagine modern clothing, and fantasy clothing, why wouldn't eaorzeans be able to imagine....hoodies?
then people are being negative whenever you mention realism, like "it's an RPG, the devs can do whatever they want! it's "fantasy" anything can happen (except hoodies)"
we have guns, magitech vehicles, airships, but hoodies...oh no! that's to much.

Yeah, why don't we replace our arms with jello and use our fancy jello-arms to fly while we're at it? Y'know since because it's fantasy and we can do whatever we want! Because some ideas are stupid and don't fit the setting, genius. Frankly I think some of the clothes already IN the game are guilty of that, but we definitely don't need an abercrombie and fitch catalogue floating around in Weaver books. Go play a game in a modern setting if you want modern trendy clothes.

As much as I would love Star Ocean level spacey gear (or some light modern gear) with FF14 being in the industrial era style at best, or just getting into it with airships & Magitech, I could only accept it in the game if it fit Lore wise... seasonal gear as Glamours used to bug me (Bikini Tanks) but I watch to much anime were they actually make ppl wear crap like that as Tank-like classes & get away with it (or not & die horribly do to no armour), but with us having worlds crossing over threw the Void for some events (Lightning & FFXI) I can't say it ant easily possible.

Can't dye them, so no. -_-

oooo I would love to have a real looking hoodie in game, not some overblown robe with a hood so big you could use it as a lala basket
