Your Character; a projection, a fantasy or something random?

My characters are simply that, characters. I usually come up with a sort of personality/charisma first and then mould an appearance around that concept and try to maintain a particular aesthetic with regards how they are dressed/emote and such. That said, I tend to favour young and aesthetically pleasing characters(albeit not to any extreme) so you won't usually see older variants or big, and burly ones.

In this I decided to make my character based off of an OC design idea I had floating around in my head for a while.

Probably built of my likes:
- 5'5 to 5'8 Female with short tomboyish hair, check
-doesn't look like she could kill me without try'ng, check (most Fantasy game trope)
-actually could do above thing cause I like capible women, check (another trope of same game type)
-Mako-ish blue/green eyes & can use a sword/shield (or gun/shield), check
-an avi I will like enouf to make a head cannon origin story, check twice (cause made to look semi like avi from diff game)

Only thing I have had trouble with before was hair color with my previous game avi's, dark brown at 1st then went "crimsion" red ended up darkened green cause its my fav color & gear wasn't dyeable in those games (kinda clashs since I keep dying my gear green in some way)

It's become a weird point of pride to be one of like ~10 black characters in the game. I dunno what it is, but the playerbase seems deathly afraid of the far right column of skin tones. I also remember when I fantasia'd briefly one of my static members said it felt weird and wrong that I had become a white person, if only for a short time.

Other than that, highladies are the best ladies, though we share the title with femroes. All other races are not as good and are so common that they all look bland and generic to me.

Main character was just created on a whim because I had no idea lore for the races existed... So after a while I just started fiddling with her thanks to the two Fantasias I had. After a while she was just kind of... You know, the small attractive kind of Miqo, except that she'd probably eat the faces of people if they said anything funny. She's completely and utterly based on that, along with her entire backstory of being a runaway Tia's daughter and everything (very, very long story, I'm ashamed my inner ficwriter took over there and went out of control).
Oh, and pink hair? Because I love pink. That's the entire reasoning behind it.

My alt is just.... a really tall, dark-skinned lady roe because god damn do I love femroes

I create a character visually appealing to me, if the game can achieve that, then that's a great start.

Some games that is impossible so I would never play them no matter what the game play was like.

I'm not afraid of it! In fact I was a pitch black lalafell for awhile with golden eyes ^0^ I might go back to that, I have a fantasia in my pocket hehe. Also, I'm always more attracted to the darker skin tones. Some of the ladies on my server are super ultra beautiful

I have a character I have been creating for ages on end that I just keep recreating in every game where I have the option, as close as I can. A sort of continuing or alternate adventures series. The first time I made her though it was a combination of fantasy and make her look as close as I could to an image I had in my mind. Hence I very much prefer the ability in a game to create a female character, but that's another story.

Whatever looks and feels right. As I go through each option on the character creation screen, I see which option appeals to me the most at that time and go with it.

While messing with the creator, I found out that Dark Purple Au Ra girls were in fact, the prettiest.
