It's not some myth..it wasn't the shading. It wasn't the lighting. It wasn't the angles.

The devs have flat out said on the record they reduced them for the new engine

I'm not above saying I'm wrong, but I do like a little proof.

But yes, ALL Of those things I mentioned before still make a huge difference in how things appear. If you looked at my side by side pictures, the difference is negligible.
