The problem is if players were able to sell unwanted plots back to the server for an 80% refund, anyone will buy a plot regardless of anything. ^^;...if players were able to sell unwanted plots back to the server for an 80% refund they would be more likely to actually give them up, thus 20% of their investment has been removed PLUS 100% of the investment of whoever buys it next.
If players had more encouragement to give up unused plots there would actually be MORE gil removed from the economy than under the current system simply due to plots being bought more often.
No refund is 100% gil sink, why need to reduce it to 20% if gil sink is a concern?
