Yes but apparently final fantasy weaponry isn't welcome in final fantasy XIV

Only replicas of real world implements, unfortunately. We're going to have to change magic as well; it will have to be just a mental effect that causes severe damage/pain thus taking HP. So 'Fire' would just make you feel on fire... This way we can be consistent with the realism.
