When/Why were you vote kicked?

Like I said in my earlier post, thm at level 50 has higher single target dps than blm. So in raids without a lot of aoe and stuff (like T11), going as thm was better than blm. However, I'm not aware of any other classes that are better without a job stone. I believe a mrd can outdps a war in single target at level 50, however it's usefulness as a tank plummets and you'd probably be better just taking a 5th dps instead. And ofc, once you get into the expansion and get the job skills, it is better for every class to use their job stone.

I assume the healer had been there before, he was wearing a bunch of poetics gear. The MNK was there for the first time, since there was a new player message, his gear was level appropriate and he watched the full cut scene.
AV is still one of the most punishing dungeons in the game.

They had poetics gear and they were running out of mana in there? By that point you should have a good handle on how to use your skills to minimise mana loss. The level synced gear is better than the top gear for that level anyway. They also aggroed mobs so they have no right to start moaning when they can't figure out where to stand. I'm guessing if they had any mana issues they were a WHM? They have shroud of saints at that level plus divine seal and regen. The only possible way they could run out of mana on a pull is foolishly spamming cure II

I've been kicked from A5 normal several times for typing GG after someone messes up bombs and wipes the group.

I just got my 2nd vote kick from sunken temple of qarn because tank and dps didnt like my healing playstyle, and blamed me for healing em at "5%" because they got hit by aoe.. They initiated the greetings whether if i am suck as AST at the entrance of the dungeon, which i replied as I suck badly.. The run went mostly smooth until the BLM stood still during the last set of mobs at the cave, to the BLM's excuse "controller's being faulty".. BLM was told for being shitty, to their disappointment, BLM chose to remain silence and they start to harass the player more. During the golem boss, tank and that dps started to get into aoe, making em dying because i only healed them at around 50% hp with me dpsing..

They put cursing language in party chat telling me that i am a terrible healer.. In which in my reply i already told em i suck at the beginning.. This infuriated them more when i purposely heal the tank at lower than 20% hp at next set of mobs.. So they intimidated me with a vote kick.. 30sec went by, and i gave em a hint that vote kick can't be initiated with item drops being rolled.. In regards to that, i got a reply "Shut up, f*****"

I got my first vote kick yesterday. I rolled MNK in Aurum Vale because I needed half a bar of EXP to get to lvl 50. On the first pull, the tank leaves the mobs in the middle of the big room and as AV is unwanted pull central, of course some mobs aggro me

We wipe, tank complains, I point out that this place is known for this problem.

Second go at it, it happens again but we manage to kill every mob but tank loses it, and he starts to call me out for it. I calmly reply that I'm a melee DPS, I need to be where the mobs are, so if you don't want me there, don't pull there. I'd also like to point out that he didn't go through the pulls to face the mobs away from the group, so I was always compromised at the back of the pull, because MNK positioning and all.

Then it goes well for a while, we wipe because the tank pulled too much, to which he admits his fault, but the other DPS, a BLM, bails. He's swiftly replaced by another BLM.

Before the last boss, other bad pull, I grab some aggro and we wipe. The tank asks to let him do his full aggro rotation before attacking, which I did because I was waiting for him to position the mobs better, which he didn't, and then I get vote kicked.

I was actually glad they did it, because I was close to 50 anyway at that point, so I grinded FATEs for like 15 minutes and got it.

Remembered a year ago when i was trying to farm crystals on Shiva EX. This is more when i was TRIED to get kicked.

Duty Finder, i was a DRG wanting to farm some crystals. We get to when Shiva pulls out her bow, obviously we get behind her. The healers.... didnt do that..... for some reason. They died, then we wiped. 2nd try. I tell them how that works. Its a really easy mechanic. Shiva pulls her bow, 3 people died to it..... I'm not gonna hide anything, i was being a total ass on how they died to that. I start asking about the party's observation skills, cause it didnt look like it was there. "You just have to get behind her" i would always say. got some backtalk. Dont get me started on how most of them would constantly slip on the ice. 3rd try. Shiva pulls her bow, everyone got behind her. Progress!..... However when she pulled it again, healers once again died. I start all toxic in saying how much tunnel vision was happening. Later in the chat someone says "Why was someone trying to kick the DRG?" I was the only DRG in the party.... so.. yeah. We abandoned cause that party wasnt happening.

I was doing Snowcloak with my gf (she healed, I was on Summoner). We got a tank that continuously lagged/DC'd. However, he had the gall to start talking to us about mechanics, when he obviously couldn't handle the dungeon with his severe lag/DC's. We hit the second boss (Yeti) and he screws up on the mechanics there, causing us to get hit by the room-wide AoE and getting stacks of VulnUp. Needless to say, we kicked him after.

To elaborate, he knocked the snowballs into the boss every chance he got, thus not giving us the chance to negate the room-wide AoE when it *did* happen.

Granted, when you're overgeared for the dungeon, the mechanics at that fight aren't that much of an issue, but when someone asks if you know mechanics then screws up on them themselves, I'll have no more patience for them.

I also didn't want to take the 30min penalty as I was there with my gf, and I was working on my summoner lvl60 relic. And considering the DF queue times lately I thought it best to just kick the tank and ask someone in my FC to queue in progress to help out.

Just a heads up though, you should be using them regardless of if your healer is keeping up "just fine". You are severely limiting them by forcing them to spam heals on you when you don't use them. The point of a PLD is damage mitigation. Defensive cooldowns are key to passing the line of "I queued as a tank" to "I am a tank."

Just something from a healer who has been set into nothing but Cure II spam on tanks far too many times.

As a tank I don't pop cooldowns "regardless" I pop them on a more as needed basis. and as a scholar I prefer other tanks to do the same.

It's incredibly annoying seeing a tank pop defensive buffs just because its available for use on a smallish pull that doesn't even tax my scholars fairy to heal. only to then make a relatively large pull and not pop any buffs cos they're all on cooldown. it's a massive waste of buffs in my opinion. and this is where I find i'm having to be really heavy on the heals. bacuase too many tanks waste there buffs.
