From Dalamud doesn't have to mean it crashed there from the explosion.
That's reaching for justification imo. Dragons are Immortal with long memories so to Nidhogg, Ratatoskr's death is still a very recent occurrence. He wouldn't need a "reminder" considering his memory, blood lust, and the fact he just litterally declared war on his Brother Hraysvelgr and Hraysvelgr's Brood for seeking peace with the Ishguardians.

Ah, yes and no? I believe both the Nail and Boulder Downs are canonically referred to as Dalamud impact sites but they don't have the standard "corrupted crystal" bit around them (and to a point, neither does Fallgourd Float). Now it could be we don't get close enough to the Nail and Boulder Downs' peculiar dark matter is supposed to be their corrupted crystal but it isn't a 1:1 thing imo

Singing Shards, Castrum Occidens, Salt Strand, the unnamed Shroud formation seen from Amdapor/South Shroud, Burning Wall all do though; and Fallgourd Float does once the tracking in our aether VCR calibrates or whatever at the beginning of Dalamud's Shadow.

anyway, based on what we saw, there not proof, favour or against, That there were collisions on dravania or churing mists.

PD: rember I said pieces of Dalamuh ( allagan stuff ) or corrupted cristals. Non of those we see on Dravania.

I was thinking more of a reminder to his brood than to himself. Many in his brood would probably be a lot younger than the fall of the Allagan Empire. His hatred would be enough to force them to fight the war, but a 'see! The squishy races have always sought to do us harm' would help to fan their own hatred even above the actions of Ishgard. You are right that it is a reach though. But the way I see it, there are three possibilities from what Ferne said. The neuro link got there directly from Dalamud exploding, it was brought there purposely after the fact, or Ferne is lying to us. I say lying instead of misleading because all the instances I can remember where he didn't want to, or wasn't allowed to, give us the story behind something, he phrased the answer as a 'we aren't ready to tell you about that'. I remember reading this one as a 'yeah, we're probably not going to talk about it ingame, so I can tell you it's from Dalamud.' I'd like to reread Ferne's quote to see if I still get that feeling from it. Can I get a reminder as to where it was said?

As I recall, it was the 3.1 live letter. The transcript should be available on the developer's forum.
