About the 'after' Cut scenes? [spoilers obviously]

Im based this, by the cutsece of where Yda and Papalymo where, there was that black tent, a torch and a cacturs, on a desert plane. Then another cutscene with someone on a cave with more tents.

just think about it. It wasn't that long since Ala Mihgo fell, at least not compared to the 1000 year war that Ishgard has been having. Yet here they are, welcomed back into the alliance. the "ease of liberating Ishgard" from its longstanding conflict might have caused some resentment among the refugees, who might consider getting Eorzea forced into retaking Ala Mihgo by other means. Being a person of some authority among the refugees, he would also have need of a disguise to maintain credibility, or Ala Mihgo and its people would just be left to the dogs(if they haven't already).

How he could have any autority if everyone knows he killed one of his country men? Thats probably why he needs a mask, to avoid any recognicion. Every Ala mhidgan on the resistance wants ilberd's head at this point.

I think there's some mix up. illberd is not the head of the refugees at little ala mihgo(whose name escapes me), which is the one with authority i was referring to. and him turning to desparate measure doesn't necessarily mean he's allied with illberd(kinda like how not all terrorist factions are fond of each other in real life)

hmm, the hair is not right. that said, I don't think its illberd.

Exactly, and also remember, Illberd himself already stated back during the Halatali duty (when we freed Raubahn from Crystal Braves custody), that he would "Do anything to see Ala Mhigo restored." That clearly involves using, manipulating and yes, even backstabbing his own people just to accomplish that - hells, he probably already is planning on once the Garleans are kicked out of Ala Mhigo he would then install himself on the throne as king (it would not surprise me if he was even related to the last king of Ala Mhigo, the 'King of Ruin' Theoduric). But he's made too many enemies and now has to go incognito to avoid repercussions.

Incidentally, this is just a theory I have, but in one of the last scenes where Papalymo warns Yda to be careful of these so called 'Masks' - it seems to me that the 'Masks'... are actually the other traitorous members of the Crystal Braves (like Laurentius and Yuyahase) - we haven't seen them yet ourselves, and if they're hiding out in the Ala Mhigan Resistance it's clear Yda and Papalymo would have recognized them immediately if they were not unmasked, so it seems to suggest that they're deliberately concealing their identities for just this reason.

But until SE reveals more information in 3.3 and beyond take from my ramblings what you will. It's an interesting theory in any event.

Y'know, the more I think about Ilberd being the man behind the mask, the stranger it seems.

If the Resistance knows enough about Ilberd's actions to have it out for him, then how could he have infiltrated them? Surely the Resistance would at least raise an eyebrow when a mysterious masked figure seeks to join them RIGHT after an outspoken proponent of Ala Mhigan liberation does a naughty and disappears. It seems strange to me that they'd just welcome him and his into the mix. Unless the higher-ups have their reasons for doing so (royal blood might have something to do with that, I guess).

Of course, it could be that the Masks aren't with the Resistance at all, and are a separate group seeking to liberate Ala Mhigo, but then I don't see why Papalymo and Yda would have their lot thrown in with them - even if they don't know who the Masks are (though you'd think they'd have at least looked into it themselves), it's not like they're hiding their own identities, and the Crystal Braves surely wouldn't exactly welcome former Scions into their midst. Obviously there's a lot we just don't know, of course, but Ilberd being the man behind the mask has me scratching my head more than nodding along.
