RNG is a vicious mistress. An FC mate of mine’s run Bismark over 220 times and never rolled higher than a 50 on the 4 whistle drops.

Happened to me with Markab - I rolled a 96 and lost. I was all excited to get my last pony and then heartbreak.

I paid my own static the standard pony-farm rate to farm Aithon with me and not roll on it after I lost a couple. xD

I like this suggestion aswell, atleast you know that afte 99 runs you will receive a mount.

By the time you've farmed 99 of those tokens I'd say you damn well earned your pidgeon.

they addressed the bad rng in raids by introducing "pages" so even if you don't get your drop you will get it in the long run. Why wasn't this implemented in pony farming is probably just to keep people subbed longer. However I'm nearing my wits end as I don't raid anymore, pvp is just another glamour farm (no ranks for gear) with ridiculous rng and reward gates and progression is still stuck to people in statics as PF has proven to be unreliable. Sorry if I sound cynical but after seeing 4 birds and not rolling above 30 really has taken a toll on me. Don't my skills and player enjoyment count for anything or is monetization of subs more important?

If I knew there was a token system for the birds I can at least enjoy at my pace rather than deal with the frustration of not unpredictable results.

I'm at 43 runs, 2 drops. One of those drops I rolled a 2 on and I've certainly heard people with even worse stories. Given how rare the drop is and how lucky you need to be to then /win/ said drop, people are preforming and farming for speed and ease of clears. I've seen a lot of first come first served parties as well or people paying others to clear until they get the drop which...ironically doesn't help people who need clears at all. I feel like they might be more likely to get people using DF if we knew, however far off, that any clear would be a step toward an actual goal.

Agreed it would mean i would actually join the farm parties because right now i'm what i did with ponies and wait for buff droprate
