Suggestion: 99 totems = 1 lanner whistle

I'm at 43 runs, 2 drops. One of those drops I rolled a 2 on and I've certainly heard people with even worse stories. Given how rare the drop is and how lucky you need to be to then /win/ said drop, people are preforming and farming for speed and ease of clears. I've seen a lot of first come first served parties as well or people paying others to clear until they get the drop which...ironically doesn't help people who need clears at all. I feel like they might be more likely to get people using DF if we knew, however far off, that any clear would be a step toward an actual goal.

I wouldn't argue with the trade of 99 tokens, I can understand holding off on it for the time being but once we start nudging the drop rate up a bit lets throw some slack out there for the people who have tirelessly slayed and fought just to either get screwed by luck or fate. I can see the one side of not wanting to though at fear people will stop going all together once they have it but....once they get the bird through normal means the same thing would happen I would imagine.

but I already used them to level my alchemist desynthesis, instead why don't we just have some slightly rare mounts for now, well I would not even call them rare since I see the whale bird everywhere.

I just want you to know that you have been successful in helping me make the decision to never run Bismarck or Ravana, until these mount drops are increased (however long that may be).

This also means I won't help new players through this content. I assume the point is to get people to run this content to help those new players? Whilst I know me not running this content has little impact on this, I am sure that I am not the only one that has given up.

167 runs of bismarck and only 6 whistles seen. (No whistle seen since run#112)
73 runs of Ravana and only 2 whistles seen

It's just not fun anymore.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. I have no idea why developers believe that RNG should be the basis of everything. I run something 100 times don't get the mount but yet new player Jim Bob over there runs it 5 times and gets it? How about rewarding those that actually put forth the time and effort instead of it all being based solely off of rng.

Please don't make assumptions. I actually never ran these through PF or a farm party. I only ever used DF and did help (as part of a group) people get their first clears. People in LS wanting to clear, people in FC wanting to clear etc etc. Always queued through DF.

The mount is a carrot for people to run the content, keeping it relevant so that those who have not yet cleared, can clear. if you are unable to make this connection, then I can't offer you anything further.

Isn't this the truth? lol I haven't done a single expert roulette this week, I capped Friday off of bismark extreme.. 8 lore tomes at a time. . . .
