I don't think the current system is perfect but you can 'Seek Invite'. You can also seek parties by the type of activity they are doing and it is better functioning than the system in XI. People just need to use the frickin' thing. Yes it needs to be simplified and text commands to search would be nice but the system is functional and it ways that XI system was not.
