Could we stop using Wow weapons and armor as the boogyman in this thread?

There is a certain game series out there that yoshi is a big fan of that is a far far worse offender when it comes to ridiculous weapons and armor

EDIT: Hey Monster Hunter weapons are great

Never said they weren't but they look cool in the context of monster hunter. I brought them up to have a bit of a poke at those that seem to think everything that comes out of azeroth is the biggest and most expressive example of over the top items.

Personally I like the look of the Ifrit weapons. Some more then others. But there are some limits as to how far I and some others think they should push the line. For me these are at the boundary, for some there passed that point.

The gear itself looks fine (imo). It just looks horrible because there're so many people wearing the exact same thing packed in to a tiny space.

i see nothing wrong with these weapons at all, not in art style or believability, the only thing i see is the pug weapon is alittle big. thats it. i dont see any boundaries being pushed nor crossing any line. it fits fine in the game, and it just goes to show that the game will be alot more epic then what we have already, which is natural game progression. if it didnt get more interesting later in the game, who would actually play it? so whats the problem? these weapons are awesome and i cant wait to get them and use them
