Horrible drop rate for primal falcons

My super duper unpopular opinion that will win me no friends on the forums is to keep the drop rate as is and nerf freaking Final Liberation on Ravana. Guilds mostly have him on farm anyway.

But this poor wizard uses Duty Finder.

90% of the time it's smooth sailing and then the party wipes on Final and we use the Healer Limit Break. It is incredibly annoying.

Yes, yes, I know how to do it. Yes, yes "git gud"

The problem with that move is when just one person doesn't know where to stand it's game over and Duty Finders are inherently chaotic and full of little to no communication.

So my point is: Keep bird drop rate the same on Bizzy and Rav. Nerf Rav's Final Liberation so the lone wolves of the world can at least see the bird not drop.

Personally I saw relatively decent drop rates on Falcons. I ran Ravana 11 times with 2 drops (lost the rolls) and 18 Bismarck Ex with 3 drops (I won the last one).

That's a better rate than I saw when I recently farmed Shiva Ex for a Pony. She was brutal.

RNG is RNG. Sometimes it's hateful and sometimes it's generous. My personal nightmare with RNG is that I ALWAYS roll crap numbers if it's something I want. When I finally got a Shiva pony, it was because everyone else already had one ....lol.

The easier an item is to acquire the less value it contains. These are currently the highest valued items in the game, so yes - of course they're going to have a super-low drop rate.

Ah, classic illogic. Although you may be correct, you cannot assume that just because A -> B that B-> A. For example, it may be found that a person who purhases peanut butter is highly likely to also purchase bread. However, this does not mean that a person who purchases bread is highly likely to purchase peanut butter.

First come first serve parties aren't all bad. If the people you're partying with are good, honest people, then it's fine. I got my Bismarck bird after 4 nights of farming the duty with the same group of people. I started number 8 on the list.

The problems arise when you get players that join those groups and then bail the moment they get their loot.

You could also just keep count.
The current drop rates seem much like the drop rates from when the primal horses were first introduced.

not even close lol, those drops were like 1% birds have about 10% droprates.

I did propably like 300-400 primal kills before nerfs and I saw 1 pony drop during that time.

Get people to do Old content Many Many times so people that never did it get a chance to do it!
Ones People have cleared it who never did. Drop rate increase because not as many people need clear.

Only issue there is a fair amount of people who are farming this are not letting people who have never done it join, they want clears and they want it NOW. Pumping those ilvs up way beyond what is needed just to ensure success.

Agreed, after the 2nd or 3rd person the rest of them are just doing it to help unless luck is extremely on your side.

I'm very mixed on this bird drop rate. I really dislike how low the rate is to force the content to be spammed - it feels like content fluff, and not actual content. I had more fun in Pony farms with the increased drop rate, even when I (frequently) didn't get mine - at least I felt like I was working towards it.

With the lower drop rate, I feel a sort of numb indifference to going back and spamming the trials to get it. It doesn't feel wortwhile to do, for me. Humerously, this personality actually saw me getting the drop for Sephirot-EX.

In the case of vanity, low drop rates are generally placed there for the prestige. It's as much of actual content as any other glamour/vanity piece added to the game is considered actual content. For people farming them right this very moment, knowing that the drop rate will increase in the future, they are farming for that prestige... whether or not they realize it is irrelevant.

Once the drop rate increases however, the general value goes down because prestige becomes non-existent, but you get the self satisfaction of having it if that's a benefit to you or anyone else. It's one of the same reasons why Savage or endgame in general doesn't just rain all equips to everyone at the same time. There's prestige and arbitrary value in being one of the few to first obtain them before anyone else.
