Yesterday doing Midas 4 normal, had a bit of trouble coordinating tank swaps with my fellow FC tank, and one of the dps told us to uninstall.

That's just... What?

I mean sure, it's a tank you know relatively well, but did the (random) DPS know that? If they did, it's one thing, but even when it's a tank you know well, it's not always easy to co-ordinate. Messes happen to the best of us, like when the current MT lands their RoH/BB/PS just after your Provoke, or when the new MT fumbles a bit and misses to land an enmity-boosted attack directly after the Provoke (especially if DoTs are ticking).

But to expect perfect tankswaps from people who just now met each other? To the point that when you fumble with them instruct said tanks to uninstall the game? Just... what? O.o

I was running Midas 2 earlier this week with an FC tank, and the PLD died because he took too many stacks before I could peel the boss off him, I tried to pick it up but the monk got one-shot because they were at the top of the hate list, and the monk got super salty about how I lost hate to him. It's like, okay, MT dies, I have to swap to Defiance, provoke, and secure aggro and in the meantime, you're whaling on him to keep your GL stacks. YES, YOU DIED.

Not all tank swaps are perfect especially when switching stance after you provoke and get the aggro. Take Midas 3 for example, OT gets jail and need to run to save MT before MT dies...

I was tanking Sunken Temple of Quarn (Normal Mode) in the leveling roulette just earlier with 3 other people, 2 of them being mentors, we got to the first boss and it was like nobody even knew what they were doing, no one stood on the orange the bees as well I had to kill the bees because no one was damaging them, the healer would not heal, the two other DPS looked like they were just auto attacking and we kept constantly wiping on it.

Take your goddamn crowns off! I was convinced they were just screwing with me in that run >.>
And on the topic of crowns I had someone in a sephirot EX run admit they only wanted to be a mentor for the crown. I am just going to automatically assume that a crown = bads, proceed with caution.

Mentor system is a complete joke since the only thing you need to be good at to be a mentor is mindlessly grinding stuff.

Did Sephy normal yesterday with some of my FC mates and my my.... Some people just can't handle wipes. First time we wiped was not knowing what to do. However after the second wipe the other healer "calls out" my FC mate who was a SCH asking if he was trolling or that bad. He replies with his that bad. Next thing you know Vote abandon. Right so, two people level and we get two new peeps. Low and behold we managed to down him the third try.....however around 1% I just walked off the platform like a derp. :X And beside that we did pretty well for the last run. lol

There needs to be some sort of feedback system for mentors. Maybe give ranks of mentor and it only raises on comm amounts AS a mentor.

Yesterday was doing the Aery for the DRG relic, got an in-prog to about halfway between second boss and Nidhogg. The tank and dps I replaced had left, apparently because of bad heals.

Said healer only did bad when I A.) Surprised pulled the first pack (they thought the Monk was going to), and B.) On Nidhogg when they got stunned and I didn't notice in time to help before dieing. We still killed Nidhogg without a tank.

Similar story here. Had a mentor melee (can't recall job, I think NIN) who pulled Mog HM as soon as shield dropped. We died to King exploding us all with only three moogles dead and said mentor instantly dropped on respawn.
