Me : But that doesn't stop you from using those spells, and doing higher DPS and killing things faster.

Me : Ok. I normally never DPS in dungeons because DPS can do their jobs, but since the start of the dungeon i am helping with it.

BLM : Healers are suppose to DPS.

Me : So...because Healers have damaging spells for story progression/job progression, they are suppose to DPS in dungeons?

BLM : Pretty much, now do your job.

This went on for a while, eventually, when we got to the boss fight, i never healed him, although i did rez him and when i did, i said 'Sorry, too busy out-DPSin' you '.

I really don't know much about Donald trump, but I'm who I'm and I'm right on the subject. I always help people when needed. What people honestly expect in online world. Anyone could play it without any degree or experience. Meaning, there would be a time where we actually play with kids, or someone who is not intelligent. I take that part very seriously.. if someone insulting you, then report, if someone rage quit, then find another player. You can't change people in games... But what you can at least do is to try and work hard, find good friends etc. Its been 2 years since I played FFXIV, I had to catch up on many things. What I did was.. simple research, it didn't take me 10 minutes to figure out what needs to be done. What so bad about it.

Ridiculous.. I never had any issues with players before. If you think that every person in FFXIV will take their time to help you, then you play completely different game. You have to understand that every players are different.. What people done here so far was, jump into the conclution without any critical thinking: like, oh my gosh, a video? are you serious??, or - so they deserve to be yelled at?. You guys made it look like I'm the evil player here, and other players following it. Like I said, if you want to be clueless person and expect people to help you all the time, good luck.. I'll leave it at this.. let's end it. I'm going to play some raids now. Take care yourself.

They're not his standards, he's already mentioned he'll always help players. But most players, if you don't have 100% full multikill XP by the end of the first hour of the patch coming up, and you dare to make even the slightest mistake, then they will scream blue murder at you, threaten you, insult you, etc. Wouldn't surprise me if some tried to get your internet hacked so they could spill all your personal info on the internet with a bounty on your head. Like him, I'm the sort of player that will always try and help where I can and am perfectly fine if you enter it blind (different playstyles and all that), but him and I are the minority there.

I am sorry I am not totally in agreement that he is really wanting to help without really caring if people watched a video. my perception is more a double speech situation, where he wants to give the impression that he is helping all even if he spend 10mn watching a video. My perception is more that he is one of those that would make it known to the guy that if he had spend 10mn watching a video as HE did, HE wouldnt need to lose 10mn explaining.

Sorry I stand behind my answer.. of course I agree my will doesnt mean you have to abid to it but neither your will makes it so.

Just me though we just see and read different stuff between what he wants to say and how it comes out. Each to their own.

Got a level 60 roulette with my main, Dark Knight. Healer started bitching at the beggining because my race (Seeker of the Sun) is not the proper one for being tank, I should be a Roegarding Sea Wolf. He didn't wnt play with a noob, so he left. Okay, good luck searching specifically for a Sea Wolf tank on duty finder.

Yeah, the extra +3 VIT, like 40 more HP or so, will save my life.

Some people still do not undestand races in this game are purely glamour.

Boy howdy did I get a really good story.


I get Sephy on my trial roulette. I got the hang of the fight after a few rounds, well-- more than a few. I wanted to get the fight down in it's entirety. Looks imposing but really isn't bad at all since it's purely positioning and timing.

Well, a couple of people were new in this run. They actually got the hang of the fight really well. The weak link was a BRD who did this before and refused to dodge anything. Out of all the people in the group, he kept getting smacked the most and in the first phase got those nasty debuffs that make damage hit even harder. Also, he had plenty of those stacked. We wiped in the second phase but before the wipe, he and the other healer died. I prioritized the healer over him and he practically expected them to instantly swiftrez when they didn't have enough MP to do so yet. Since we didn't make the DPS check, we got smacked off the arena.

Someone leaves and they're replaced swiftly. The BRD in particular was getting angry over how he wasn't rezzed first and started namecalling, and I promptly told him that he should well... dodge. In the first phase, the new member to the party even noted that this BRD didn't bother to go behind Sephy each time he'd reel his fist back to do his AOE punch that causes the debuff. Because of the stacking debuffs + getting clobbered, BRD eats the dirt once again. The inexperienced members of the party were even saying how they were able to get a handle on this quickly.

I used swiftraise and the BRD decided to pout and complain as we started going through phase 2 and not accepting the raise, claiming how his DPS is really the deciding factor in the DPS check. New member goes "What a waste of a raise" and everyone is doing pretty well actually, far better than when this guy was involved and we make it through while he's laying on the floor!

I had a good laugh.

Yesterday doing Midas 4 normal, had a bit of trouble coordinating tank swaps with my fellow FC tank, and one of the dps told us to uninstall.
