I absolutely despise this mentality that someone should be forced to "watch a video" before going into a new dungeon or trial. And then on top of that, you go on to say that if people don't prepare by watching a video, then they deserve to be talked down to, insulted, raged at, screamed at? Are you kidding me???

You see, this is the problem now. I never said they deserve to be insulted. If you are not prepared, anything could happen to you or your team mates. Is it not?. I believe in equality, everyone should be treated the same. Just because you don't know, you don't deserve to be screamed at, no. but sometimes, things doesn't go very well. Your team might experience a wipe, that kind of anything. Indeed, maybe someone quit. But we don't go after them and fight right?.

A7. I watched the opening cutscene, then greeted everyone and claimed that it's my first time in this duty. So did two other people.
The other five people, including two mentors, immediately left ._.

I think you have to understand that I'm not forcing anyone to watch a video. If people here don't want that, then they should expect whatever it's coming for them,

I did Ravana in DF again after my last story for about 30 runs, and FINALLY a bird dropped!...................................I rolled a 34............................. No flying high on high for me quite yet. XD The experience was much more pleasant this time though. We wiped a lot, but everyone was communicating and we managed to pull through. ^^ WOO team work!

Can I rant on single digit rolls? sometimes the item I want I mostly rolled on single digit in the first few runs.....

So I'm really wanting to level up DRK, so I queue in for Haukke Manor super nervous, because even though I did some GLA (got mine to level 15, and did some guildhests, but people weren't very nice when I told them I was new :<), I'm still not super comfortable with tanking. I've been reading a lot of guides and practicing rotations (read: drilling them into my skull, because I really do want to be good at tanking), so I hoped I did well. Since you only learn by actually doing.

Anyways, I load in, and tell everyone right off the bat that I've never tanked Haukke before, and to please bear with me if I do any derping. Everyone seemed okay, but one DPS kept (deliberately, maybe?) attacking the one add I wasn't attacking, even though I tried to rotate between them all to keep aggro (maybe they were trying to teach me lol). We wiped once, and I apologized (couldn't stun one of the maidservants in time and we got terror'd). Moved on. Last boss add phase was tricky, but no deaths. I even got a commendation.

I just want to say props to all of those people for being super patient with me and giving me a chance instead of booting me, or groaning at me. :3 You guys were all awesome! Hopefully if we meet again, I will be a better tank. ^^

Tanking Lost City Hard for Drex, had a nightmare NIN. Didn't believe in dodging AoEs, and kept complaining the party wasn't running fast enough, healer wasn't healing good enough..etcetc. He'd always run ahead of me and start pulling groups, going all out dps even before I had a steady aggro. It was really annoying, because he'd leave the current group we were attacking, and run to the next one to start pulling. Not only did it mess the flow, he'd also not hit marked mobs, preferring to start with the ones that were unmarked. Started getting really snarky when he was told off by the BLM for pulling, calling us noobs and that "if this was my normal group, we could finish this in 15 mins!". His stream of snark continued all the way until we reached final boss where my healer friend had it and initiated a vote dismiss. We got a goon after that, and completed Drex in peace!

Finish in 15 minutes my ass. Finish with 15 mins LEFT on the clock sounds more plausible with his no-teamwork attitude.

Sad part was, that nin was a mentor -_- I wish we could seriously leave a negative feedback on mentors with shitty attitudes like this.

*comforts* You aren't alone. My pigeon farming parties are always that, people jumping on too early or people not jumping off Bismark the 2nd time. At which point it always seems to be me and the other healer standing there staring at each other before we hold hands and jump ourselves. Its kinda beautiful.
