Basically this. It's really annoying when I have to wait 5 extra mins at the end of instance. Thankfully I got mostly crafted so I just roll on everything and gtfo fasterI also think it might be the person only wanting something like the Lens and just rolling on that item, but waiting to roll on the screws in case they lose the lens. But then you got someone who wants the screws, but waiting to see if they have to roll on the Lens and well you got the .gif from a couple of posts up.

Sorry for the multiple posts (can't find the edit button on phone) but whenever someone sits in a roll, I have never seen someone give up and leave.
Logically unless a run takes 1 mins I would never give up, even if I rolled a 1

I was in an A7 group where we wiped about 6 or 7 times. By the third wipe, someone kept trying to Vote Abandon, but we all declined. Funny thing was, all of us were there for the Lens. We finally won, and the guy who was trying to abandon ended up winning the Lens. The rest of us stood there in shock that we didn't even roll on the other items until a few minutes later.

While I try to roll on everything I admit if I run a dungeon thats below 60 i almost always forget to roll.
It would be nice if we could set it to auto pass on stuff.
There can be mulitple same rolls - if there are the game rerolls amongst the tied people. So you see you rolled 99 when the final lot is cast you check chat and - you rolled a 1...
(super serious)I don't know what to put here so I've put this here as a placeholder until I figure it out.(super serious)
Recruitment code if you are starting out: FTB8JBQ5

I think the long timer was to avoid losing a roll due to cutscenes. Kind of annoying when someone abuses it though.

These type of people make me laugh how they somehow think they are entitled to a piece of gear when everyone put the effort into it and then complain and sit on it when they didn't win due to the system deciding who should get it. Seems to be a recurring thing throughout this game currently. Reminds me of a time in Alex 4 where there was a group of 5 people in a premades group and we defeated the boss.
The items dropped and guess what all 5 of these people started doing, they started spamming macros with all the sound effects on pretty much every second for the whole 5 minutes to get what they wanted. People left in rutt but not me. I stayed there for the whole 5 minutes and just muted my TV and laughed at them whilst i wrote a report out. Selfish selfish people. Oh and they didn't win any of the rolls either which made it even sweeter.
The timers should be reduced to be frank to about a minute then you have no excuse not to roll. Either that or the game automaticallty rolls need / greed for you which is still terrible but it will stop all of this issue.
Seriously getting fed up with the mentality of people in this game lately.
You're overlooking the fact that when someone else rolls before you and doesn't roll a 99, your odds become 1/98 instead because you now have one less number to potentially draw. This is very much true. The longer you wait, the less chance of a 99 there is going to you.
Yeah it's a 1/99 chance, but once it's taken it's a 0/99 chance.
So no, your odds of getting the 99 do not decrease if your roll later.
I have never seen this happen ever. Pics or it didn't happen plz. There can be mulitple same rolls - if there are the game rerolls amongst the tied people. So you see you rolled 99 when the final lot is cast you check chat and - you rolled a 1...
