I like how in these forums if someone doesn't agree with another player's idea of fun it's automatically wrong.

I would like some time sinks, not drastic ones like waiting for a party in XI. We have leves for that. But I don't like that we get to pick to allow our airships to be instant. That right there makes no freaking sense. We're getting chocobos to cover short distances on foot so players aren't hopping from crystal to crystal, why implement more instant travel?

I'd like to see them make use of the boat, and have a wait like a random encounter. Pirates, Kraken, stuff like that.

Everyone seems to want hard content but no one is willing to sacrifice a little risk for it. I'm all for overworld NM's that are 'random' as long as they're at least once a day, or at least under certain circumstances we can guess with 80-90% certainty on.
Like watching NPC's that deliver the news on the weather. It's fun in the end once you get to the mob, isn't entirely random as long as you put in some extra work, and is also a time sink.
