Or you know he could be right? Given nothing in this game and several other AAA games grant everything right away. Is it possible that you know, SE messed up again? Or are we just going to keep up the white knight act on everything they do?
I don't monitor new reddit threads every second.
Grats to Elysium, but 3 days it took them will equal to weeks/months for reguar statics.

Welp, time to mark off "white knight" on my Raid Thread Bingo Card.
If I get "toxic" "elitist" and "trash" I'll win a free banana.
Didn't it take the world first group, y'know, over a MONTH to clear Gordias Savage? I know it was definitely over 3 weeks, at least.
Wigging out over it not being cleared in 3 days; smh, this had better be a troll topic.
This actually makes sense, if you put together a couple of Yoshi's statements regarding Savage's difficulty. Firstly, he told us some time ago that AS1/AS2 were intended to be about as difficult as Final Coil. Secondly, he told is Midas is supposed to be between Final Coil and Second Coil in difficulty. Since Second Coil was harder than Final Coil, it would then make sense that it took the groups a little longer to clear AS5/AS6 than it took to clear FCOB.
He also said in a recent interview he expects that it'll take about two weeks for the first group to clear.

Git gud and problem solved.
My group didn't start savage yet but we are preparing for it but so far normal has been a lot fun I can see how fun will be savage with a few extra mechanics. At least a lot better than Gordias.
Someone heard "The dps checks will be easier in Midas savage" and decided that it meant "Midas savage will be easier".
The 2 sentences have different meanings. And Midas has been advertized as a mechanical clusterfuck, and so far it is. It's no wonder it takes a bit of time to top groups to down it. Look back at the mess T9 was, and how long it took people to clear it (about a month I think ?). T7 savage lasted a lot too.
You don't win anything, the point is with the way they have been directing the content and the constant obsolete gear trend that "difficulty" between SCoB and FCoB back in 2.5 or whatever isn't the same as 3.2. That claim that they made about A5-8 would fall between the two former raid difficulties was 100% false from the get go.
It's practically forum fallacy at this point to assume that anyone who defends something is a white knight, and takes away from the actual argument.
I'm pretty sure most serious progression raiding groups left FFXIV.A1 and A2 were cleared Day 1 with A3/4 being massive gear/time wall for most of statics which even led to the official apologize from developers.
But now top groups like Lucrezia and Elysium can't even come close to clearing A6S for days in full i220+ pentamelded, which equals to i240 and weeks of progression for regular statics who don't have perfect skill level and play 15 hours per day.
Do we have a raid designed for 1% of most hardcore raiders... again?
Progression raiding isn't really a thing anymore nowadays. Most competitive players are playing the hearthstone or LoL ladder and the days where raiding was a thing (eg from 2006 to 2010) are long gone.
