I think he's a part of a growing population of gamer that deconstructs the fundamentals of gaming as a whole. Instant gratification is in.

Because people could not meet DPS checks despite having mostly BiS gear. If you actually been doing these fights or observing them, you would know these fights are more mechanic heavy than DPS check heavy. Of course the DPS checks are still there, but so far not severe like Gordias was.

Raiding would be a lot better if they would just RESET COOLDOWN ON WIPE. please give my thread on the subject a like and comment. I want to raid again but the waiting between so many deaths is really really bad for the game in my opinion.
This isn't coil...it's Alex, it's not the same. The mechanics, the items, etc. Just because final coil was cleared in 5 days, doesn't mean Alex will. The whole Final Coil was cleared in 5 days by top groups with most of statics not being able to clear it for a couple of months. It's not about learning or gear (top raiders learn fast and require much lower ilevel for clears because they play more efficiently), if they can't clear it in i220 no way others will clear it in i230-240. And we are talking about A6S here with A7/8S possibly being even harder.
And your assumption is a stupid one to make.

And these DPS checks could be met only by 1% of top hardcore players making all others who don't perfect their rotations 15 hours per day left out of content.Because people could not meet DPS checks despite having mostly BiS gear. If you actually been doing these fights or observing them, you would know these fights are more mechanic heavy than DPS check heavy. Of course the DPS checks are still there, but so far not severe like Gordias was.

I lack a good source to site for this, so I'm not going to go and confirm it, but I remember hearing that A5S has been beaten already...
-Update-
Yep, cleared last night.

"Easier than Gordias" doesn't mean it's going to be faceroll DF content. It's still Savage.
It sounds more like you were expecting this when you zoned into the raid:

Um, honestly, I thought that was the point of raids. Content that ordinary players are unable to beat, content that is super hard and requires good teamwork and gear to overcome, content that requires near perfect performance from the team. If the Savage encounters are beat within days, how do they even qualify as raids? Unless of course I've misunderstood and raids are meant to be so easy that they can be beaten in days like 'normal' mode is. Somehow though, I doubt I have misunderstood, which leaves me wondering why anyone complains that raids are not beaten within 3 days of a patch.
