You mean like any video game that offers an actual challenge and not just hand everything to you like a lot of AAA titles today?
Whatever floats your boat I guess.

I think he's a part of a growing population of gamer that deconstructs the fundamentals of gaming as a whole. Instant gratification is in.

It can't possibly be because some people enjoy tackling content that doesn't take a few hours to beat from when you first experience it or expect an entire raid to be beaten within a week of release.
And you are the group of gamers who are white Knights and can't see that those craplexander raids are just artificial time gates that made you feel elite enough to post what u posted?

Finally overcoming a major obstacle in a game after a few hours? Yeah, that's definitely rewarding and can be a lot of fun.
But weeks? That's ridiculous and I know a lot of people aren't doing it for fun, which is what a gaming is supposed to be about. Hardcore raiding is toxic in a lot of ways.
But don't be so thinskinned it's just one guy's opinion.
I'm not getting this at all. You're describing clearing something in the kind of timeframe I would expect for 'normal' difficult content, like the 'normal' mode Alex. Yet you're talking about Savage Alex. If you want the instant/quick gratification don't you already gain that from beating normal mode. Finally overcoming a major obstacle in a game after a few hours? Hell, maybe it's time to rename these modes.
'Alexander: Normal' becomes 'Alexander: Training'
'Alexander: Savage' becomes 'Alexander: Raid'
The way you're talking you want all content to be beatable within hours. Even to me, that sounds like content with training wheels.
