There's a non-answer if I've ever seen one.there are battle bots you know? This game has released for a year already. Many people already reach cap on all classes .

But.... it really is close to 1% of the game population that only has crafting classes ranked up with no battle classes, that's the point. There really aren't that many people who buy a Final Fantasy game then don't bother doing any fighting in it.Of course, it does matter. If I said there are 99% of pure crafters & gatherers, and dev team buy it. They may change the game direction to DOL/DOH. Are you happy to see that happen? When he said only 1% of pure crafters & gatherers, some mindless people may think that only 1% of people in game, maybe it is not wroth to give the content to them. And that is why it does matter.
It's like me saying 1% of this energy drink I have is Taurine, it's not far off the mark, but it's close enough (it's actually 0.04% according to the label, but even that's an approximation)
Actually it sounds closer to him admitting that he does use bots, since he didn't deny it.
By the way did we mention bots are illegal to use in this game and it's a permanently bannable offence?
Ooooo you in twouble now boyo.
Uh, the Devs don't need us to point out what percentage of players have leveled what jobs. They know very well how small the percentage is; and I have no doubt that this is one factor that informed their choice.Of course, it does matter. I craft whenever I have time. and Yes, I do love this game that much. I've play FF when I was 12, and I love craft because this is whole new gaming experience for me. I do battle class on every other good game available on the market. I argue with you guys because I don't want Final Fantasy XIV become any other game in the market. You guys, you come and go, and you don't even invest much time into it, but I'll stay til it ends.
you dont want them to market ffxiv, ok, they have to make money.I craft whenever I have time. and Yes, I do love this game that much. Well... like it or not it IS another game on the market. SE already said they took some of their inspiration for the game from popular MMO's like WoW and the like, so it already had started off life being influenced by other marketed games. You're fighting an impossible dream here...I craft whenever I have time. and Yes, I do love this game that much. I'm not saying that let SE not to follow the market trend, battle class are needed for most of people, but crafting system and gathering system in FFXIV got huge potential to outrun others. Sometimes I feel yoshida make this game losing its soul, and I really don't want to accept that.
This will be my last post. I think dev team do get the message from all of this people. I'll wait and see where this game will go.
