Raema Deon from Shiva also created a site that works on mobile to calculate a rough estimate of your dps. console players now have their solo ACT on dummies \o/

It's not a rough estimate. It's pure math and is a more reliable number than what a parse will give you. Because parsers estimate dot damage.

If a dummy has 200k HP and you kill it in 150 seconds then your dps is 1333. That's not an estimate, it is factual. You just can't be super precise since we don't have tenths of a second.

It's a rough estimate because you aren't fighting a dummy like you fight a real monster. Usually no pots, no food, skills used in an order you wouldn't normally or skills you can't use on a dummy but can in a fight due to downtime, aoe fights like AS2 which do not translate at all (as2 dummy as a SMN is a joke), etc etc.

All you can say for sure is that your gear is sufficient, and that if you fail you have to work on your rotation to fit the pace of the fight
