Korean games emulate FF's style in general. So, actually.. these look final fantasy and not Korean. However, if you mean korean as in it looks cheap, then yeah... I kind of agree. The proportions are too big which makes it look that way.
In any light, they look fun though. Can't wait.
To be honest I always kind of liked how koreans over-stylise things and make everything look awesomely flashy, sure it's a copy and can be considered tasteless but who cares? It's just a nice bit of eye-candy so the game doesn't look grim and dull and boring. Besides, Dante and Nero in Devil May Cry have stuff like this all over the place and people love that series, never heard anyone say they looked Korean.
Seriously before you judge gear like this try playing S4 League for a bit, it'll probably make you change your mind on overly flash stuff.
It's kind of funny, people were saying how Eorzea looks bland and dull and the colours are very pastel, and now they're getting something colourful and flashy they're complaining about it.

My concern is that... if Ifrit weapons are now, will other primal weapons be superior to Ifrit weapons in raw stat-age?

Korean games are like the New Jersey of the game styling world. Cheap and flashy.

I wonder if they have Ifrit weapon models built for Arcanist and Musketeer yet... <.<

Because they weren't Korean in the first place, they're Japanese (But we associate japan with all kinds of weird) ... you might want to use the Magna Carta series to prove your point (As that is a Korean game with Korean characters)To be honest I always kind of liked how koreans over-stylise things and make everything look awesomely flashy, sure it's a copy and can be considered tasteless but who cares? I know that's what I was getting at. People are saying these ifrit weapons look korean but they never say Dante's weapons look korean and they hold some strong resemblences in many cases.
And yeah I have Magna Carta II on my 360 and it's good fun. Kind of odd though, it was made by Banpresto which is actually a Japanese toys & games company but they used a korean anime art style. Always confused me a little that did.
I mean, the Korean anime style was copied from the Japanese style, so they're sort of copying something that was copied from them in the first place @.@
LMFAO... these weapons are fake right? Plzz tell me they are, because only the bow looks right. everything else looks ridiculously lame.
