I wasn't really referring to what could be done once gear is obtained for later stages of Midas, I really was only looking at M1s at this time, with today's gear.

You misunderstand my question, or perhaps I needed to be more detailed. No, SSS isn't for teaching you your job, yes I understand that this is a gear check/skill check. My question is based on what parameters SE decided to factor in (or not) to determine whether or not you had the damage for a fight. People were clearing Faust in the early days by using pots and food, last week, you needed neither of those to clear Faust.

If you have ever looked at your numbers when you are by yourself vs. when you are in a party, there is an obvious difference, and that difference can mean the difference between a clear and a wipe, in the early stages of a raid cycle.

Sure SE could have considered this, I don't have faith that they did. I have heard the phrase "working as intended" more than I care to recall. We have heard them say personal housing will be coming soon, and it will be cheaper than FC houses. Pray forgive my lack of blind faith that SE didn't overlook something with this. Numbers are simply numbers, without the proper context. I am asking for this specific context.

no worries or saltiness intended. I do think that it is interesting that an attack power of 949 is more than enough to clear that fight. (887 STR, 1223 VIT, 755 acc, 926 CRIT, 557 DET - assuming their stats are in the same place as they show up on mine)

yeah, 1200 dps as WAR doesn't seem that unreachable with HQ drac potion, food and fully pentamelded i220 stuff. Pretty impressive though
