    no actually what they said is using a job will limit you from being able to equip some cross class abilities. what does that mean? to me it just simply means some of the abilities that you can use across classes cannot be used on jobs, but not all of them. will raise be one that can't be used? idk and neither do you.

    exactly, they didnt say you couldn't equip all abilities just some of them, so for example defender II could not be equipped on monk but defender 1 may still be able to

    But that's already true for classes. Like LNC being the only person able to equip the Surges. So what your implying makes jobs pretty much identical to classes. What's the point?

    Also not to mention WHM (Job) might get a trait that lowers the raise recast by 10-50% to make it more ideal for healing. Of course your trade-off of having the job is you lose all your nuking powers, so it seems like a fair trade.

    I'm hoping for more debuff removing spells, like maybe being able to remove the death debuff that decreases health, that'd be extremely usefull in a boss fight if the tank dies, then when you raise them they won't suddenly be squishy like they are now.

    currently you can use pretty powerful cross class abilities, like in my example defender II or second wind II in the future the more powerful moves you will not be able to. I am only going off information given by the developers, but that is how it is.
