Exactly. The whole reason jobs are being put in is to create player roles in parties. You won't be able to use cross-class abilities. If you could...well they would just be classes.

no actually what they said is using a job will limit you from being able to equip some cross class abilities. what does that mean? to me it just simply means some of the abilities that you can use across classes cannot be used on jobs, but not all of them. will raise be one that can't be used? idk and neither do you.
