PS4 Error CE-30022-7

I read on the reddit thread that re-downloading the game was a guaranteed work around. Thankfully my character data and system data uploaded via PS+ so maybe I'll do this. Shouldn't have to though, it's clearly a bugged launcher and that should be an easy patch. I wish they separated the launcher from the main game like in FFXI. I think I'll wait it out a bit.

I just bought PSPlus so I won't have to go through this again. This is the second time since 3.0 hit that I've had to completely erase the game and redownload/install everything.

same here. I opened the game on ps4, did the automatic launcher update, and then when it tried to reopen, got the error message:

Cannot start the application.
(CE-30022-7)

Tried multiple times to open, but always the same message
